The wave _ Benz motor show
This project investigates the translation of dynamic natural phenomena into architectural form, employing the motion of ocean waves as a conceptual paradigm. It positions the new Mercedes-Benz models as active agents within a system of layered motion, highlighting the complex interplay between object and spatial context. By mediating between the dual-layered display of vehicles and the perceptual experience of visitors, the design situates the models as elements navigating a stratified, wave-shaped environment. The arrangement of undulating surfaces emphasizes the grandeur and fluidity of waves, generating an experiential framework in which the vehicles are perceived as dynamically engaged, akin to surfers riding the crest of motion. Through the integration of temporal and spatial layering, the design constructs an immersive, kinetic environment, reinforcing the notion that movement and fluidity constitute an essential dimension of architectural experience and perception.
