Anitya
There is nothing fixed in the world. This work embodies the concept of anitya - impermanence - the recognition that all beings exist in a state of constant flux, never truly remaining the same. It is precisely because each moment is finite that it carries deeper meaning.

By applying heat to discarded soft plastic, I sought to capture the very instant when the inert material began to writhe, as if reclaiming life from within. Once rigid and forgotten, the plastic is revived through heat, transforming continuously with renewed energy. The surface appears animated, responding subtly to unseen forces - a quiet reminder that all forms of existence, including our own, are perpetually reshaped by change.
This work serves as a meditative reflection on transformation -
an exploration of vitality and transient beauty that arise from impermanence itself. The surface seems to breathe, suggesting that existence is not a fixed state but an ongoing act of becoming, where meaning resides in the ever-changing flow of form and time.
